HELD is in the Kin Keepers’ Collective Community

We are creating a co-creating a space that centers healing from misogyny and working towards a future where we can have spaces that can include all people without harm.

This is multigenerational transformation. This is a brave space for those who have been most harmed by misogyny to do the work of reclaiming our authenticity and dismantling all forms of oppression. If you are a cis-gendered man, you can sign up for one-on-one coaching.

Education.

The more you know, the more compassion & confidence you can have.

Embodiment.

Rituals and practices to support you on your journey.

Community Support.

The magic sauce is we root down and do actions together.

Held is for thoughtful, caring, intentional, justice-oriented people…

who want to have the rituals + community-care resources they need to operate powerfully in the world and feel good in their own skin without culturally or spiritually appropriating.

Trevia with hibicius

It’s my mission to help people most harmed by misogyny remember who they truly are.

I want to create a world where people from all backgrounds have a sense of culture and self so they don’t need to culturally appropriate other cultures to feel whole. I want us to have the rooted, healing rituals and community care practices we need to  flourish. I want us to have remember the skills, resources and connections we need to change our lives and yes, the world.

Hi I’m Trevia Woods. I’m a multiracial woman with Indigenous ancestors with nearly two decades of experience in bodywork, education and community-building. I help people most harmed by misogyny remember their power and build powerful healing practices without culturally or spiritually appropriating -- and we do that, together.

This is a pivotal time for us,
This is a pivotal time for our culture.
So many of us are looking around right now,
trying to decide what to carry forward
and what we want to leave behind.

That’s why I created Held. It’s time for us to reclaim our sources of power, our traditions, our knowledge and our healing rituals and carry them forward into the future we’re dreaming of.

AND it’s time to leave behind so many of the status quo practices -- like spiritual and cultural appropriation -- that have undermined our authenticity and power.

It’s time to make sure we’re at our most powerful, so we can make the powerful changes we’re dreaming of.

In our lives. And in our world.

We get to decide what we want our lives to look like and feel like going forward.

And we can do this on our terms, with each other.

Our best classroom is each other.

Here are two liberating, counterintuitive truths:

We are whole.

There is nothing wrong with us (but there’s a whole lot wrong with our world that tries to convince us we’re the problem…)

We stand together.

No one heals on their own.  We need to hear about each other’s challenges and triumphs. We need to learn from each other’s successes. We need to cheer each other on. We need to embolden each other and we need to practice getting out of shame and into self-confidence together.

This is our work in HELD.

This program is open to people that have been most harmed by misogyny*

And... this is a shame-free collaborative space hosted in the Kin Keepers’ Collective.

We’ve been born into systems and histories where taking without consent is normalized and often invisible. None of us chose that. But we can use our own practices to change it.
And when we do... power.

Knowing who we truly are is a source of power. Remembering the wisdom that was lost to us is power. Cultivating healing and social rituals so we are replenished is power.

In Held, you’ll learn how to get clear about who you are and what matters to you. You’ll re-claim your lineage and your own value. You’ll cultivate rituals informed by who you are so that you are rooted and can rise.

Held is about carrying forward your sources of power and leaving behind the sources of harm…
...so we can have the lives and leadership we’re dreaming of.

The Authenticity Framework

IDENTIFY.

Identify who we are and where we live. We will explore our histories and lineages however they have been delivered to us. At the same time honoring the place we live now.

RELEASE.

Our call to action to do less harm.  Since we filled our cup with some new authentic practice and knowledge, we will let go of one that is not serving us or others. We do this together without shame.

EXPLORE.

Explore our lineages with curiosity. We will pick one thread of our lineage carefully and delve in to learn more.

REFLECT.

We take time for individual and communal reflection on the practices we gained, the ones we released and on the process itself. White Supremacy culture regales us with a constant sense of urgency. Let’s begin to unwind that by taking our time, reflecting and thoughtfully cultivating our next steps.

PRACTICE.

We will cultivate rituals, we will explore food and traditional practices, and we will practice boundaries & community care.

REPEAT.

As a member you will have access to our community and continue to do the framework to reclaim yourself and let go of what is hindering your power. Rewilding & decolonizing helps us tap into our true power source. This process works like peeling layers off an onion which requires continued cycles.

Here is what the experience is like…

  • HELD is one of a few offering you will have access to in the Kin Keeper's’ Haven. Kin Keepers dream of a world where every living being has equal access to the necessities of life, including laughter, rest, creativity, joy, and justice. Because connection is the antidote to capitalism and systems of oppression.

  • HELD works within the Authenticity Framework with a monthly connection call where you can connect with others embracing this journey.

  • Once a month on Saturday @12pm EST (this can change!) we meet up to check in, build connections and discuss what’s coming up for you in the program.

  • One central teaching space. Our community will be hosted in Mighty Networks called the Kin Keepers’ Collective. It’s a rich and supportive environment that is facilitated collborativilty by myself, Holly Revere and Janine Bertolo. That’s where you’ll find all your lessons, chats, videos, and community members. (No hunting around for the latest link!)

  • You will have access to different live workshops, weekly co-working, and supported events sponsored by Kin Keepers’ Collective.

  • There’s community so that you can connect with like-minded people (no one heals or flourishes alone!) to chat, and be supported.

  • We’ll use community tenets to anchor ourselves in community. We will learn to deepen our listening and feel truly heard when we speak our truth.

You do this so that you will…

  • Be rooted in who YOU are and what’s shaped you

  • Honor all that’s made you who you are

  • Be really clear about what you want and your boundaries when it comes to embracing your ancestors and heritage

  • Learn how to honor other people’s boundaries so you can honor your own

  • Practice sitting with uncomfortable feelings to create change

  • Release any shame you’re carrying about being complicit in the status-quo by releasing practices that are not yours

  • Get more comfortable voicing your needs and advocating for yourself

  • Stop thinking you’re a problem to be fixed and start seeing more clearly how there are social problems that need to be fixed (it’s the ultimate shame-buster!)

  • Stop being so alone and start being supported by like-minded community

  • Get reinforced in practicing your healthy boundaries

  • Align your values with your daily practices and in your home

  • Build a web of healing practices to support and fortify you

  • Start feeling SO MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE and POWERFUL in your skin
